Bob Gregory's Class 07
Body kit for a British Rail class 07 diesel shunter around the Bachmann Farish class 04 chassis. The body is of entirely of brass construction with overlaid bodyside detail, a choice of buffer beams with or without a coupler socket, and individual etched bodyside doors. You will need to provide buffers and any fine detailing such as horns you wish to fit.
The kit contains a fair number of parts but the noses are tab fitted to the chassis to make construction as simple as possible. The chassis requires minor modifications (removing the jackshaft and trimming the end mounts).
See photographs of the 07 kit as built by Bob Gregory.
Complete body kit for a British Rail class 71. Designed to fit a Bachmann Farish 25 or 33 chassis. The kit consists of brass brass body shell, noses, window frames, grilles, battery boxes and flat roof panel. Some filling is required to produce the nose curvature. Add four buffers and a pantograph (eg Tomix 0201). The etch has the rainstrip omitted so it can be used to model the full range of operating periods. The picture shows the test build sat on an as yet unmodified class 33 chassis.
Complete body kit for a British Rail class 71. This version has the alternate grill arrangement found on 71004 and 71011.
Class 25/1 conversion etches for class 25/3. Some additional filling and filing is required to fit these parts. Converts a Graham Farish, Or Bachmann class 25/3 locomotive into a 25/1 with bodyside steps.
Class 25/1 conversion etches for class 25/3. Some additional filling and filing is required to fit these parts. Converts a Graham Farish, or Bachmann class 25/3 locomotive body into a 25/1 with plated steps.
Class 24 and 25/0 conversion etches for class 25/3. Some additional filling and filing is required to fit these parts. Contains a range of parts including multiple roof detail etches sufficient to convert a Graham Farish, or Bachmann class 25/3 body into a 24/0 24/1 or 25/0 with bodyside steps.
No valence parts are included so this kit is not recommended if you wish to model the locomotives in early condition.
As RAT03 but with plated bodyside steps
Etched kit for a 48DS diesel shunter with later style body and cab. Includes a simple fold up chassis, two part fold up body shell and detailing overlays. To complete the kit you will need a pair of 5.5mm axles with plastic wheels (ATM, N Brass etc) and buffers to suit your prototype choice.
As SHU03 except that the first run produced have no easy fold lines for the curved part of the nose. If you are used to brass construction this will pose no challenge but if you are new to brass you may find SHU03 somewhat easier to build.
Etched bodyshell (ex works windows) and basic roof shell for 1831. Designed as a scratch aid this does not include buffers, or any of the roof radiator and other detail.
