Terms Of Business

Etched Pixels products are component parts intended to assist in the construction of models. They are intended for adult modellers only and will need some skill, additional tools and parts to assemble. In some cases we will list specific additional items and suppliers but we do not list all tools and parts that may be needed, to do so would be impractical. As a small company we are unable to provide comprehensive support and assistance but will do our best to answer questions by email about the products both before and after purchase.

We strive to make the parts we produce accurate and detailed. However there are limits as to what can be achieved and it is sometimes neccessary to slightly adjust dimensions to fit available parts or to meet construction requirements. In certain cases some details have to be extrapolated from incomplete sets of drawings and diagrams.

Etched Pixels accepts payments by Paypal, postal order or cheque made payable to 'Alan Cox'. We ship to the United Kingdom only. Goods will be shipped after payment clears. As a small business run part time our processing times will vary more than we like, please be patient. We do not keep all goods in stock, some products are etched on demand. This allows us to keep a wide variety of product available.

Etched Pixels products are normally shipped by first class recorded post. Ask if you want them shipped by special delivery at cost. Certain high value products are shipped special delivery. In the event of a damaged packet you agree to keep the packaging and to comply with reasonable requests from the delivery agent to obtain them. You agree that if a package is lost or damaged you will provide such information and confirmations of non-delivery as the delivery agent may reasonaby require.

You may return products within fourteen days in accordance with your rights in law. Products must be returned in a saleable condition or no refund will be made. No refund will be made for the postage or your return postage of items returned unless they are faulty.

Although we check each item carefully for faults we may occassionally ship a component which has not cleanly etched. We use digital photographs to record shipped etches and track faults. If you receive a faulty item please contact us immediately. We will either ship a replacement component, or arrange a return and replacement of the faulty item at our cost. If no replacement is available a refund will be given.

We care about your privacy, and unlike many vendors we mean it. The only information we keep is that neccessary to process orders and meet our legal requirements. We will share your name and address with the shipping company in order to ship your products, and in the event of a loss claim.
